He died today by an unknown gun
Another Irish loss, some mothers son
The dark side of life struck again
Shot on our streets it happened amen
Taken from life by a cowardly act
Gone forever, no chance to come back
A son of Ireland, his spirit did fly
Shot in the back tell me why?
The killing must stop, our people unite
Walk together in peace with a flag of white
