Petes Poetry

Pining

I've seen a lot of faces,
In an assortment of places,
On heads in different spaces.

What's this world I know?
As I die and grow.
What's this world I see?
Which face belongs to my destiny.

So alone and hurt.
Yet a brave man sheads no tears.
I'm not grown in dirt.
But being turned in to a vegetable is one of my fears.

So natural to be in pain.
So natural all my reactions.
So natural, yet make no gain.
As love and beauty is my attraction.

This soul yearning for a start.
This soul yearning from the heart.
This soul wishes for another to be a part.

This heart full and beating.
This heart happy for the greeting.
This heart is yours for the meeting.

This mind wise all the same.
This mind has an intelligent brain.
This mind can only explain.

A gentleman.
Who wants to settle man.
A romantic
An eccentric

I have a dream of finding another.
I need friends I can call sisters and brothers.
I need a woman to be my lover.
Eventully marry, and I'll cherish and love her.

Pete.
