MYTHS AND MAGIC

Walk into the arms of Sappho
Feel them caress your mind
Grasp hold of a warm coffee
Then sit among the myths and magic
Buried in the books that surround you.

You have entered into café Sappho
One of Sydney City’s benign escapes
Sip your coffee slowly and be at peace
Let the sound of silence be at one within you
Myths and magic surround you. Open a book
Then fly away to the land of mysterious imagination

Myths and magic, facts and people all around you
Burrow into the words, cosy up, relax
Knowing you are downtown sipping coffee
 in the arms of Sappho.
