DESTINY

Yesterday we met. Seems as if it was today.
But one phone call told me you had passed away.
Yesterday is my today and I love you even more.
That tells me my destiny was you forever more.
Where to from here as my today is my yesterday.

People say, in a most gentle way, move on forget
But you are me and I am you. Where can we go?
This is our destiny. Your spirit lives on forever more.
Eight years may have flown away but love never ages
Only people age and today,as is yesterday, you’re my destiny,
To always love you in the gentlest loving way.
Getting to know you and to fall in love was a blessing,

I have moved on to loving you in my memories
A word spoken, a touch of a hand, a kindness shown
Always reminds me of my love for you.
These words are written with the deepest respect and love for you
Wee Liz you were and are my forever destiny.
