Reasons to be cheerful
Another day becomes to rise
Rise above attempted tries
That failed to yield deepest desires
But One who is of Holy fire
Here but one above all reasons
Calls each day of every season
To all who need much change of pace
If searched you'd find in heart yours traced
Your sentiment that makes up you
The tears that fall that bring the true
The real, the soul that falls again
Upon knees He comprehends
Sad it is to run about
With no one there to hear the shouts
That run silent inside the slave
That needs to know who truly saves
Saved the day before your birth
Saves the best for more than worth
Are you who reads this one more write
You so loved with much contrite
There are but limits yours truly
Knows of them and unruly
A guide that pours upon all spirits
With voice whispered if you'd just hear it
Your journey failed to yield results
The kind that keeps what He helped birth
Upon a land he made clearly
To live for Him, yours sincerely
Take a look and summarize
The very gift, the very prize
Waits upon your heart to change
Accept and know what you estrange
There is a drive with purpose here
Here where change sums up all fears
A right of passage if you would walk
To light above all lights man balks
Breathe this day of perfumed air
The air that keeps and knows too where
You stand this day or fall to knees
In silent cry of every plea
