Every year there is some family whose happiness gets shatter
When the news broke that a female family member is diagnosed with breast cancer
There is no doubt that the person froze and instantly the blood went cold
Perhaps this too also sent an eerie feeling that permeated the body to the soul
Gone is that belief that there is that sanctuary there because of age
Maybe it is our callous pollution of the environment that set the stage
Dumping chemicals that catalyzed reactions resulting in oncogens and carcinogens
Which then break through the defenses of a vulnerable immune system?
