I no longer look for signs
To the coming of the Lord.
Living in this day and time
One doesn’t have to look too hard.
It began with the renewal
Of the state of Israel…
The prophetic scriptures speak
To all those who study well.
Of course there are the skeptics
They will always be around…
But I no longer look for signs…
I am listening for a sound!
O, when I hear that trumpet blow
I’ll be drawn into the air!
The magnetic Voice of God
Will bring all His children there!
I can picture the excitement!
I can hear the jubilee!
When the voice of the archangel
Is calling out to you and me!
No other sound will match it!
It will ring within each soul
Who’s been longing for The Rapture
And the Savior to behold!
A reunion with each loved one!
A release from earthly ties!
When God, Himself, will personally
Wipe tears from all our eyes!
It will be joy unspeakable!
And truly full of glory!
But only the beginning
Of the never ending story!
I look forward to that moment
When I am Heaven bound!
I even sleep facing the east!
As I listen for that sound!!

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord,
that we which are alive and remain unto the coming
of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with
the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught
up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord
in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Corinthians 15:51-55
51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all
sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality.
54So when this corruptible shall have put on
incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on
immortality, then shall be brought to pass the
saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in
victory.
55O death, where is thy sting?
O grave, where is thy victory?
Revelation 21:4
4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.
