Remember
It is really amazing how hard some people work to get to the top
But in time that they seem to forget but get alarm at the slightest drop
Somehow now pretending that they can only see things at that level
So cannot tolerate even if for a short time having to grovel
How easily people tend to be deceived by a lifestyle improvement
This change also brought along a state of getting quite complacent
Never understanding that somewhere lurking on life's range
Is always the omnipresent entity in the form of something call change
There is no doubt that in every situation there will be forces
As one is not operating in a vacuum there will be those that opposes
So the only way that one can eventually fine that valuable treasure
Is the stick it out, endure the fight and withstand all the pressure
How many times we see people tending to adore that possession
Instead of enjoying them and having the relation up to the point of depreciation
Because as the years progress they will be some form of parting
So making that that period together was one that is rewarding
Some time ago my country felt the wrath of a hurricane's devastation
My loss was my car, the apartment and some personal possessions
But my thought were that I came out alive and definitely unscathed
So if I care to in time those things I can someday replace
With this in mind on the streets there was this lady I met
She was so distraught that she opened and quite loudly wept
Lamenting the fact about how much she has lost and what she will do
My response was lady be thankful you are alive, there are many in the same boat as you
So as we hear people sit around and blame governments about conditions in the recession
Yet they are still enjoying a reasonable lifestyle despite the situation
Through that mass media they can see the state of people in other countries
Where the people are living deprived of even the slightest amenities
