The soul has much to say

Resolute dream...

First frost
of the year

A million
and one twinkles

None match
those of her eyes

Pilgrims of the Fall
Crimson leaves

match the color
of her hair

Crisp autumn
breeze

mirrors
translucent flesh

Coffee aroma
causes a stir

A hint
of cinnamon

marks the arrival
of the season

Breakfast
in bed

Love the way
the sheets unfurl

Like an unnamed flower
she blossoms

Temptation
to paint her

met with
shy resistance

Hiding place
beneath the pillows

Imagine the sun taking refuge
behind the clouds

Kissing her
fingertips

A sign of my
white flag

Dreams can
marry reality

if you keep
the faith
