A man of age, of Thirty Three
Of Heavens own would call to me
A mere mortal of no real worth
A son so loved granted rebirth
Why me or you ask this day?
What could we have to even say?
To one that does not know His name
To them who still not know of He who came
Yet in my storms he saw my heart of woes
A heart that knows of warmth bestowed
Upon a soul selfish and undeserved
Yet life gave up for me reserved
Life to serve someone in need
As child of GOD to now succeed
Where He left off I now must go
To bring His word, to make it so
Show the way both far and near
To mankind's needs to calm their fears
Of Love in need the world not knows
Of Hope but His to them now show
My carnal self shakes with worldly thoughts
Knowing quite well it's He who brought
This change, this need to sacrifice
Of time given, of Blood, the price
Tell them of the change to come
Speak; you know what I have done
For them, from you, the world needs hear
Of Christ, my son to draw them near
This mission forged of fire mine
Will cleanse all those for all of time
For this you came, to go now forth
To speak of me the world aborts
You ask of where I'll send you to
You who'll breathe my life unto
A land that's filled with hopelessness
You'll leave when done of Holiness
Be not of haste or doubt that you
Will fail to see this mission through
For in my hand that holds to yours
This trial, mission, you shall endure
As others have and left their mark
Of me in you, you too shall spark
The Light of Life to shine in them
To know I am, and not the interim
