Welcome to My Poetry Site

Worrying is a draining exercise.  I hope the words help you win the battle against anxiety and advance towards peace.

Stop hoping constantly that this may happen or that may not happen
Hope in God
Stop worrying
Hope in God
Stop trying to control
Hope in God
Stop it
Hope in God
Stop trying to steer
Hope in God
Let it happen
Don’t make it happen
Don’t take charge
Hope in God
Don’t strive
Hope in God
Stop wandering what ‘they’ might say
Hope in God
Me and You Lord
Stop wandering what may happen this afternoon / week / month / year
Hope in God
Stop worrying about how you will look – what you will say – if you will say it right – what reaction you might get – whether they’ll still like you.
Hope in God
No regrets
Hope in God
Stop worrying about whether you have what it takes
Hope in God
Me and You
Stop trying to orchestrate
Hope in God
Stop worrying whether the aches or sickness will go
Hope in God
Stop fighting to get there on time
Hope in God
Stop holding on to it / them
Let go
Hope in God
Stop worrying about how the meeting will go
Hope in God
Stop worrying about what the customer will say
Hope in God
Stop living in prison
God has the keys
Hope in Him
Stop trying to get it right
Hope in God
Stop trying to get others to get it right
Hope in God
Stop trying to think so hard
Let God do the thinking through you
Hope in God
Stop worrying about how that bill will be paid
Hope in God
Stop trying to get others to do things the way you’d like them to
Hope in God
Stop trying
Hope in God
Stop trying to hide your fear
Take it to Him
Hope in God
Stop trying so hard not to fall
He is your safety net
Hope in God
Stop it
Stop trying to be perfect
Hope in Him
Stop trying to justify yourself
Hope in God
Stop feeling sorry for yourself
Hope in God
Stop gripping so tightly
Hope in God
Stop looking for comfort
Hope in God
Stop trying to create the right conditions
Hope in God
Stop trying to be so careful
Hope in God

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Matthew 11 28:30
