Gods Attire
Stop this day and take account
For all the things that won't amount
To nothing more but so much less
Of time wasted by thoughts careless
We chase our dreams, placing no worth
To Him whose will allowed our birth
To be much more than passerby
To live for Him before we die
Some right here upon this site
Ignore the signs of days and nights
That draw nearer to end the plights
This sphere corrupt by mans hindsight
Value the car, the home, the bling
These things for now one cannot bring
When last breath draws us to our end
A real life story, plagued by pretend
Your worldly treasures won't buy you time
But buy your place upon the line
A place barren of love that gave
The key to chains to free man slaved
Time will end maybe this day
Be not fooled as all things play
Their role upon this stage we walk
As yours this day darkness does stalk
Self worth becomes we last think of
The parts that makes the one above
Smile upon His work of art
Knowing your role that played its part
Treasure is what's in your heart
The need to share, the point to start
To know Gods plan when blood was spilled
By Christ for you as Father willed
Things of no worth what will you wear
Before The King of life yours spared
