~*I AM NATURE'S CHILD ~ AN AUTUMN LEAF`*~



My Life is short but but oh! So Sweet
for being Nature's Autumn Leaf
I budded forth on a warm Spring Day
within a mist of dewy spray
with warm sunshine helping me along the way...



It wasn't long before I was dancing in a breeze
being softly caressed with many a tease
Soon I was floating up and down and all around
slightly being touched without a sound...



Birds and soft winds serenaded in song
as I merrily danced along
life was short but oh so sweet
as I swirled high above the street
praising my MAKER I was soon to greet...



Then approaching winter winds began to blow
disrupting nature's lovely Autumn Show
It was time for dear Mother Tree to let go
her dancing leaves in Autumn's Glow
Her bare branches bowed down in prayer
for beauty was no longer there...



I am fully aware of my purpose true,
for Autumn's  Beauty I have brought to you,
As a Crimson Colored Leaf floating free
where I end up is where Nature needs me to be...



Life was short but 0h! So Sweet
as I scurried down along the street
far into deep valleys and streams to meet
down to the Ocean my Maker To Greet..
