Your Blissful Soul - *A HYMN TO SUPREME OMNISCIENCE *

PRAGNA PAARAMITA - By Lord Buddha

Salutations to the Goddess of Perfect Omniscience
Whose form is infinite wisdom and immense peace
Who is the most perfect beauty devoid of all defects
Visible only to those who are free from all taints!
~*~
He who sees Her with inward eye, finds the blue sky
Which is vast and taint less, without any attachments
Beyond all illusions and divisions, leaps into the Sea
Of consciousness and sees the enlightened Seers!
~*~
The good sees no difference between this Goddess,
The source of all excellent virtues, and the Buddhas
Just as there is no difference between the Moon and
Moonlight and so between the Sun and sunlight!
~*~
We take refuge in Her the most compassionate One,
After becoming merciful hearted towards all beings
We too attain the peace and immeasurable greatness
Like Buddhas, blessed by the Perfect Omniscience!

He who comprehends Thee, O Pragna Paaramita!*
Surely attains to eternal perfection in wisdom; and
Surely he would be engaged in doing good to others
For Thy vision is fruitful of auspicious results!

You are the loving Mother of those enlightened heroes
Who are engaged in doing good to others, there fore
O Mother, you are also the grand mother of all beings.
And with heroes You are the Moon followed by stars!

Though one, Thou hast various forms, so the enlightened
Worship Thee under various names in various countries
As dew drops vanish before the shining Sun rays, so do
All the fallacies,doubts and disputes by attaining Thee!

Your form is terrible to the ignorant, but to the enlightened
Your form is beautifully inspiring which make them perfect.
After attaining Thee the enlightened never feel any desire
For the worldly things and they care not for any attachments!

O Supreme Omniscience, You do not come from any place
Nor You go any where: verily in no space You are realized
It is strange that those too, who do not see You thus, but
Take refuge in You with heart and soul
Attain freedom absolute!

You are incomprehensible Maya
Your ways are inscrutable;
The universe proclaims Thy glory
Yet, the man out of ignorance fails to see You.
The wise in their hearts realized Thy presence
O Supreme Omniscience! You are the only way
to our salvation!

For the enlightenment of
Embodied souls out of compassion,
Lords of the men speak of Thee
From their relative stand point;
But in fact, You can't be spoken
As You are beyond all expressions
How can I praise Thee, who exists
In the void with no support?

O Supreme Omniscience! Thou art beyond all praises, yet
By offering Thee praises in such lofty terms I can experience
Thee as endless bliss in the eternity of divine consciousness.
May Thou bless the whole world
With such supreme consciousness!
