 Penniluck's legacy

Todburn Lane

This is about a street where i was raised from a young age until i was four yet still remember with fondness.

My hero today
Is the old way,
The lamp lighter,
The street fighter,
The skipping rope,
No taking dope,
Just having fun,
Not on the run,
The lamp swing
And everything,
That takes you back
To that old track,
When you were wee
And still could see,
Your dreams come true
And morning dew,
And catching bees
And climbing trees,
And your best pal,
I loved it all.
Where did it go
I do not know
But somewhere near
I sense it`s here
And will remain
Down Todburn Lane.
