I can make you laugh
I find that easy to do
But I can’t hold your hand
It makes me sad and pain invades my mind
I want to speak words out loud
I want to say all the things you want to hear
I want to hold you near

I want to make love to you
I want to make you cry with joy
I want you to see inside me
But it makes me sad and pain invades my mind
You’ll never know how I feel
I must protect you from the madness
The spirits that I see
And the things that happened to me
I’m sorry for being me
Not all that you need
Not sure I will ever be free
That makes me sad and pain invades my mind
But I can make you laugh
I am the joker
I keep everyone up
When I am down
That makes me sad and pain invades my mind
