Time can be awesome when playing the game
the clock face laughs at you through the day
and its hands never move past twelve past two!
Life can be cruel when love is waiting in the wings
shadows don't follow your steps, you walk alone
and loneliness is not a place to be on your own
Love can get you in the heart when it hits you hard
there is no warning, no siren no bell it just happens
then you must use it and deal with it the best you can
Love is a wonderful feeling when happiness sneaks in
it lifts you up and drops you both off into something else
which cannot be spoken about but it is for lover's ears only...
