I walked in and I saw Santa Clause

Drinking a Iced Peppermint Mocha with a candy cane straw

I blinked once or twice because I didn’t believe my eyes

When I looked the third time I saw about 12 others guys

But not with white beards or long white hair

They appeared to be life sized Barista Bears

Some had Holiday Gift Packs and while raising them up

They danced around sipping Ginger bread Lattes in big red cups

This wasn’t what I expected when I came in

I had just drop by to pick up a few pounds of the Christmas Blend

Maybe some Espresso Roast, or the new Via Ready Brew

Since they now have that in a Christmas Blend too

But this was like a dream, a Starbucks winter wonder land

Every customer had a smile on their face and a treat in their hand

Peppermint Brownies, Holiday Gingerbread

A 6-pack of Cranberry Bliss Bars wrapped in red

It was Partner Shopping Days, so even they were pairing

Connecting Starbucks cards with the 12 Days of Sharing

With gifts under $10 giving wasn’t so hard

And Santa left with a little extra on his Gift Card

Whether dream or not it was a wonderful day

And as I walked out I sipped my caramel Brulee

Then I toasted to Santa as he flew out of sight

Shouting Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight

Just having fun
