That Agenda
How often there is that strong voice of a person
Who on a particular issue heaped loads of criticism?
But then a few days hence display a change in opinion
Causing such shock among those who were a following
How those views were able to easily influence lot of people
With reasoning that were so logical and verifiable
This brought about such a great amount of lobbying and rallying
And over time the numbers of those convinced were swelling
So when this change occurred many got hit with such horror
In the eyes of many this person had now become a hero
But Alas! How could such an action come now to be?
This person has made a turn equivalent to three hundred and sixty degree
What a role model too, getting the attention of the children
Perhaps inspired by what they saw their parents doing
But the question what around could have been so enticing
That could have cause those views to mellow and are now changing
It is always amazing how people who promulgate some strong views
Can be quite sure of getting many sitting in those followers' pews
And are quite willing at any time to lend any type of support
As they see this as a relaxation in that zone of their comfort
So lost away that when that moment come they get so let down
Hit so deeply that they repercussions are often quite profound
As they seem to forget that insecurity and weakness in humanity
All enshrouded in that cloak of the omnipresence of frailty
One should realize that people will use all at their expense
To ensure that the outcome is on that can effectively convince
Because having many caught up in the actions that are being dispense
Then that hidden agenda will then come to prominence.
