SUFFERING IS A COMMON THREAD .

Truer words have seldom been said - than these 
In all humanity -  ' Sufferering is a Common Thread '.
The vital cord that holds mankind - by every fragile strand.
It comes in many forms - in deed or word .
In wounds and scars - that run like purple veins -
Linked by the tendrils of dis-ease or pain .
No living being is exempt - or can escape its' grip.
Yet through its' heart there runs a silver cord of hope .
Where kindness binds the wounds - and stems the flow 
And gives us grace to cope -
Until we rise up from the ashes of despair - on wings of doves
And miracles - replace the seering pain -
With hands of love .

Yes - suffering may affect us all - in many ways 
While we are clothed in frail humanity and skin .
But - Love breaks all the barriers down -
And in her mercy  covers and protects 
Like mantles of encouragement -that says -
One day - All will be right -
And well within .

And so - for all - who may  - in desparation 
Feel the weight of suffering and pain .
Take heart - for you are not alone 
As there is ONE  who took upon HIMSELF
All that humanity has borne .
And - overcoming - sickness - anguish - death -
And sin - in every  vile - shape and form .
HE has the power - to take our needs 
Our heartaches - griefs and pain -
And raise us up to everlasting life -
And - Hope again .

The Lord knows and deeply cares for all 
who are suffering in the world today ...and 
He longs for you to turn to HIM and seek
HIS help in your time of need .
