Salutations to Goddess Maha Lakshmi,
Who causes great illusion of the World
Who is on the throne of divine Splendor
Who is always worshiped by Gods, and
Who has conch, mace, discus in Her hands,
Obeisance unto Thee, O Mother Divine!

Who rides on the celestial bird Garuda
Who is a terror to demon Kola, and
Who destroys all sins of Her devotees,
Obeisance unto Thee, O Mother Divine!

Salutations to Goddess Maha Lakshmi
Who is omniscient, who bestows all boons
Who is a terror to all the wicked, and
Who removes all sorrows of the devotees.
Obeisance unto Thee, O Mother Divine!

Salutations to Goddess Maha Lakshmi,
Who has a form of mystic word symbols
Who bestows on success, intelligence,
Worldly enjoyments and liberation as well.
Obeisance unto Thee, O Mother Divine!

O Great Ruler, who has neither a beginning
Nor an ending, who is the Primeval energy,
Who manifests as Supreme light in the heart
The Queen of the Universe, O Maha Lakshmi,
Obeisance unto Thee, O Mother Divine!

O Devi, Thou art both gross and subtle, the most
Unmanifest cosmic vast beyond the whole Universe,
The great cosmic womb of the Creation; Thou art
The divine prosperity and the remover of all sins,
Obeisance unto Thee, O Mother Divine!

O Devi, Thou art seated on the lotus of the Universe
As its divine splendor, and the Supreme light of the Lord,
Thou art verily the Supreme Brahman, the Great Lord
And the Mother of the universe too, O Great Goddess,
O Maha Lakshmi, Obeisance unto Thee, O Mother Divine!

O Goddess, whose garment is the lustrous white sky
Who is adorned with various kinds of glittering ornaments,
Thou art the mother of Creation and the Absolute existence,
O Maha Lakshmi, Obeisance unto Thee, O Mother Divine!

Whoever with devotion reads this hymn to Maha Lakshmi
Attains all success and divine prosperity through the Grace
Of the Goddess, and those who ever recite thrice every day
Will destroy all enemies and will be blessed by the Goddess!
