Antoinette In a T-shirt

As meals go, love
You were a feast
A lush banquet
Of unnamed guests,
Theatrical glances

All things perfectly manipulated
To consume
Fill, gorge

A decadent embarrassment
Of adoration and treachery
Finery and shackles, an equal weight

Fire for shadows, not warmth

October, 2012
