Oh what a tangled web we weave
When we practice to deceive, If you stop and think about it
It`s true you`ll have to admit.
It may start as a small lie
A lie which you try to deny,
So you lie to cover that lie
So more lies you have to apply.
With each lie the web grows
Where it will stop heaven knows,
The web can grow so very fast
With all those lies you have amassed.
The web will catch you unawares
All your lies it then ensnares,
The web can grow so very big
With each lie your grave you dig.
You become wrapped up in your lies
This could eventually be your demise,
It`s best to be honest from the start
That way you won`t break anyone`s heart.
Where`s the way out you may ask
This is indeed a mammoth task,
Own up and just come clean
And admit what a cad you`ve been.
