Poetic-Verses
There's a Rose growing tall in the garden
the ones you grew of crimson red,
and I'll take one Rose to the bedroom
and place it where you laid your head.
I remember before you left darling
in the garden where I watched you sow,
from a seed you made the Rose blossom
with pride you watched them all grow.
How I long to see you in the garden
each night it's there you would be,
how I miss the sound of your laughter
each Rose you grew reminds me.
Now there's a fence that rings the garden
where the Roses can grow big and tall,
maybe one day you'll return my darling
and you can plant a few Roses more.
There's a Rose growing tall in the garden
the ones you grew of crimson red,
and I'll take one Rose to the bedroom
and place it where you laid your head.
The crimson Rose.
