A Message for His People
Cursed is the man, who will trust man,
And will follow only their plan;
Then will make flesh and blood his strength,
As he perseveres at great length.
For his heart has been turned away,
And now has even gone astray;
No longer is in one accord,
Since he does not follow the Lord.
He will be just like tumbleweed,
And never see any good seed;
Wandering around the desert,
Wind blows with no effort.
Bless the person, who trusts the Lord,
And remaining in one accord;
The Lord will be his confidence,
And also there for his defense.
Like a tree planted by water,
Being nourished as a toddler;
Its roots are stretched down to the stream,
And now has grown to an extreme.
It has no fear of summer heat,
A luscious green beneath its feet;
And in the fall there is no doubt,
To bear fruit even with drought.
The human mind and the heart,
Having so much deceit to impart;
No one ever can understand,
Until they are on sinking sand.
