Unlike Me
Though He would come unto this Earth
As I through womb woman would birth
I'm unlike Him who bore no sin
But cleansed no less if not for Him
He'd walk a thousand miles for me
For you and those who still don't see
This man who chose to give and take
His life for us man would forsake
Son of GOD who bore same flesh
As I to stave off worldly mess
Of things we make about ourselves
Of things taken off our soulful shelves
Perfect was He and still this day
If just this once, you too would pray
You'd know how much, how far we strayed
Yet still no less, salvation paid
We all fall short, yet shorter still
Is no less reason, He's fulfilled
His place, refuge where skies above
He ponders thoughts of you thought of
Unlike me who still needs work
His love still rains on me thought worth
