WATCHING

Watching, always there are people watching.
Turn away and you feel their eyes staring, watching.
Paranoid I may be, but I know, they are watching.
Why are they watching me haven’t done anything, yet

Walking along the street doing nothing, simply
being there is enough to make them watch me.
guess you think I’m crazy, so do I, at times, then
I look around at all the cctv watching not only me, you.

How come this state of mind is the acceptable norm?
people peering at screens all day watching me, why me,
because the passive acceptance of cctv watching me
watching you, is the way we live today.
