Don't cry your tears in the rain
you'll only find heartache and pain,
don't walk that long lonely street
it's only yourself that you'll meet.

For every sad tear that you cry
there's never an answer to "why",
that world you thought would last
is shattered and now in the past.

Don't cry your tears in the rain
it's only yourself you can blame,
no forever or a sky always blue
there's no fairytale ending for you.

Learn to stand up when you fall
now it's over don't build up a wall,
some day you'll find someone new
than all your dreams will come true.
