That Stand
There was no doubt that the campaign trail was hot
And from all reports and signs both sides gave it all they got
Those in the arm chair, statisticians and all those political pundits
Reported that the trends show that it would be a close match
On election night when the voting result came in
At one stage it was very hard to predict which one will win
Then as time progressed the indication became quite clear
Which of the candidates will be the one to sit in the victor's chair?
This result show jolt the other side to the modern realization
That there is now a changing landscape on the electorate's horizon
As those die hard supporters, hardliners are now moving on divinely
So they have to rethink and come with a different electioneering strategy
These new hopeful are bright, educated and quite analytic as they deliberate
Hence politicians must have ideas and bring policies to which they can relate
And too must understand to be flexible and have some time to appease
Those needs and also give some hope to all those growing numbers of minorities
Now that all the hypes and competition s and aggression is over
It's time now to sit plan and settle down to the business stated on the agents
So therefore mend those fences and move forward now singly
To ensure the stability and the continuity of that country
Gone too should be that dogmatic type of partisan opposition
But put heads together to find ways which are practical solutions
And try to return the country back to those glory days, that era
When it was considered to be hope, now to be a industrial and technological power
Perhaps its growth and by extension and perhaps the world's recovery
Would certainly be dependent on an upswing and buoyancy of its economy
So it's time to know down those party barriers and work together
Also too make a climate that is favorable to all sectors of America
