I Never Walk Alone

                I Never Walk Alone                  November 13, 2012

I've moved on, I've come home, now I'm not alone
I have friends and family beside me, I'm so happy to be home
I worked for my country to change things that were wrong
Lonely nights in my other home, I used to sing my favorite song
I had friends just like me there inside the bricks and mortar
No green fields for me, just dreams and wishing to be free
It had to be done to make us free, my family, you and me
My friends have moved on to a different place high up in the sky
Before they left they told me we could have freedom if we try
I don't regret the work I did, now change is on the way
I miss my friends that were with me then, every single day
My beliefs are strong, I'll see them again, a heavy price to pay
I think of them often as I walk the streets of home
I have feeling for them, I'll never walk alone
I've moved on, I've come home, now I'm not alone
I have friends and family beside me, I'm so happy to be home
