Dear LORD - YOU knew  - how heavy - was the weight -
That was bearing on my heart - and all the reasons why 
And -  how alone - in this old world - I often feel -
But then - just when the sadness seemed -  to
Swallow me - and bury me alive -
You sent a friend - who  spoke a Word  - in Season -
 Reassuring me - that I was on YOUR mind -
And - no matter what 
My wounded heart - would heal .

Oh - what is Man - that YOU should care for us -
The way YOU always do ?
How can YOU - raise us up - as Trophies -
With such pride ?
When - so often - we haved spurned YOUR love -
And turned our heads away -
And cast - YOUR love - so carelessly aside ?

But - thank YOU LORD - for loving us - and 
Never giving up .
Nor treating us - the way our sins deserve -
And - thank YOU - for YOUR Family - 
WHOEVER THEY MAY BE - 
 GOD BLESS - EACH ONE -
WITH MERCY - PEACE
