Words are words
Gossip is fun yet hurtful
Especially if it ain't true
So why play with matters of the heart
If someone feels someway about one
The other may feel the same way
So why say so if it ain't true
Stop playing with my emotions
If you want my attention
poke me on facebook
Nudge me on MSN
Beep me on skype
Ring me on my phone
Knock on my door
Say hello in the street
You don't need to smother me up with gossip
I ain't a woman to play games with
I only wanna hear the truth
If you know something about me don't use it for your own advantage
Don't use it against me
You should be happy at least try to help me
Stop trying to use it for my attention
I am not a doormat and a dog would break free of this mental torture
A cat would jump out a window
I am a human being and i am telling you to stop it
Its not a nice thing to say or to do
Especially to nice innocent people
The media never get rich being honest
It hurts those celebrities whom everyone forgets are still human
The media are cold and heartless they don't care who they hurt
Now its trained generations of people to use and abuse
Yet i am not standing for it
NOT ANYMORE
Does it mean there is nobody close to me i can trust
Only my family and some friends
Yet it makes it so hard not to hide whats deep inside
As sometimes we try to find the answer
Yearning inside of us we weep for an answer and we trust those wrong to trust
We only want an answer and if only gossip meant a good word and not something cruel and heartless
Some gossip is good, but not always it just depends what ear heard it
Something good always ends up bad when envy is the hardest emotion to control
So who are you meant to trust these days
I can only trust my Lord, my family and close friends
The rest is yearned deep inside of me bursting wanting to break free just to know is the feeling mutual
