Appreciate your visual giftSunlight glistening through a misty vapour spray, Fragmenting its' brilliant light, Sunshine lights our path, to show us the way Moonbeams guide us at night, A fractured rainbow, a broken arch in the sky, A cloud dividing the sun's rays, Dawns crimson light, a fresh new palette to try, Warmth burns off the morning haze, A curved horizon separates the sky from the sea, Viewed from a mountain on high, Seeing the world as being round is a sight to see, An awesome vision in my eye, The sun in earth's atmosphere, mysteriously magnifies, To look larger as it slowly sets, Much as the full moon when it starts its nocturnal rise, Lighting up the dark stellar nets A mirage on the highway, distant water it appears, Evaporates before our very eyes, Shimmering on bitumen as the road stretch nears, Distorted hot air on the rise, The sight of tranquillity, the world at last at peace, The innocence of children at play, A stillness and calm after the storm winds cease, These moments in memory stay, Open your eyes, look for the beauty nature bestows, A vision for those who can see, Blind people marvel the of grass between their toes, Don't waste what's given for free Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
