~ ~ MY GIFT TO YOU ~~
I have a special present
That I`d like to give to you,
You can`t hold or touch it
It`s one you can`t even view.
There`s no doubt you will feel it
It`ll warm you through and through,
It will even make you smile
It`s a gift of great value.
It is you that I have chosen
To receive this special gift,
No one else can claim it
And some will be quite miffed.
You only have to keep it
In a well protected place,
Over time it will grow bigger
So give it plenty of space.
I`m sure you`ll be delighted
With this little gift of mine,
This could last you a life time
Providing you treat it just fine.
I have to bring it to you
There`s simply no other way,
I can`t wait to see your face
So, therefore, I`ll not delay.
I don`t give this to you lightly
You`re honoured I must say,
I am sure you will remember
This monumental day.
It will come to you through me
This gift I willingly give,
Wrapped up in a great big hug
MY LOVE for as long as I live.
