Anyday Don't Leave Me This Way®

He used to always say
you can't grill after Labor Day,
but still even so
out with the grill he'd go.
If it rained he'd be out on the porch grillin
his heart out and what he made was always thrillin,
i don't know why i'm thinking of it this time of year
cause it's much too cold to be cooking outside here.
But when it wasn't come rain or come shine
The Master Chef was truly all mine,
then when the holidays came
he didn't have to worry about the rain.
Cause he'd be in the kitchen so cute
making more feasts i still miss and salute,
the apron i had made for him as a joke
he loved taz but a devil he wasn't and it makes me choke.
And drown in the tears that fall down my face
it's most lonely in this place,
so as Christmas comes again very soon
i present this crown as my gift till he's cookin 4me on the moon!
