Burden
One bad Apple might spoil the whole pie
Steer clear of those people that make you sigh.
They can drain you from within
and put you in a battle that you'll never win.
A battle that makes you want to say go away.
And want to tell them "I don't care what you say".
That I've got my own problems to attend to
and I don't have time to listen to you.
But you know as well as I do
there's a part of me and you.
That makes us curious even though we might not care.
because there might be some worth in problems they share.
Maybe a short cut to avoid some of their pain.
From the crosses they've bared as they played life's game.
