So often - in the wilderness of mellowed memories 
Hide the Hidden Gems - the greatest Treasures .
Crushed by years of weathered tread - and yet 
A diamond in the making - waiting only 
For the hammer blow - to strike and break 
The hardened clod - and then unearth 
The Sleeping Beauty from her slumber - and her
Darkened - tomb-like bed.
And - when it seems - that dreadful moment comes 
With crushing blow - the very essence of her being 
Seems to shrink - as if exposed now -
To a thousand suns - revealing all the outer filth -
That covered her - beneath its' foul shame - and putrid stench 
And kept her bound - within it's captive chains - like broken bones .
But now - the One who grasps her tightly - seals a kiss -
Upon her unresponsive lips - to claim His prize -
Then waits - for that faint glimmer - that first flutter - as she 
Wakens - and responds to Him - through misty - sleep-filled eyes.
And then - she sees - as all her senses are unfolding -
Beauty - as she'd never dreamed to know before -
As - looking in His eyes of molten Love 
She sees her own reflection - now - a work of Art .
Redeemed - Beloved - Restored .
And yet - She knows this is no dream -
Nor does she need to hide away - or fear 
But - like a sponge - soak up the avalanche 
Of Passion - wave on wave - that burns the dross -
And dries away - her contrite tears .
And - by His fervent love - He makes her whole -
As One who has the power to break the hardest heart -
To gain - the Richest Jewel -
Her - Precious - Soul .

I am so grateful that my Saviour thought  me of such great 
value ...that He dug so deeply ...to rescue me .
And I know ..that is how He sees you Too.
