O Divine Mother,You gave birth
To the Sky and to the Earth,
Hung Heavens in the empty space,
Created the Sun, Moon and the stars
To stay and shine upon this earth!
O Mother!You are the Mother of Cosmos
Adored by celestial beings and by sages!

Thou fills the earth, the air, the sky;
Thy presence, unperceived, extends
Beyond the world's remotest ends.
A million skies fall short of Thee
A billion Suns can not out shine
The effulgence of Thy light divine.
The universe which we boundless deem
To Thee but as a handfull seem!

Mother, You are without a peer
On earth, or in the heavenly spheres.
Countless circles of time wear away,
But You are the eternal One without decay;
Thou shinest on in ever youthful force,
While countless Yugas* run their course.
Unvexed by cares, or fears, or strifes,
In bliss serene flow on our life,
With faith we claim Thy aid divine,
As thou art our Mother, we are Thine!
