Numbers of Convenience

Numbers of Convenience               December 18, 2012

When the numbers are right it's democracy for me for sure
We must be loyal with those numbers of convenience
Majority rules if you have the numbers, it's the only way to go
No place for fascism, we're democratic, the ballot numbers show
Fly our flag, deny their rights, employment for me not you
We claim this land of Ireland, removed the flag, paint the sidewalks blue
Ban the language and deny a free worship, democracy for me not you
Things were good, lots of food, who cares about the Irish poor
Those democratic loyal men are not democratic anymore
The numbers are right but things have changed for sure
The right numbers now wrong numbers and the flag of the union gone
We've changed our mind, we got it wrong, we don't want democracy here
When the numbers are right it's democracy for me for sure
We must be loyal with those numbers of convenience
