Daylight going on behind me
but i don't see,
i'm lost in the darkness
can't exist like this!
I'm going out of my mind
my sanity left behind,
in the good old days
now just a haze!
People all around
hear my mourning sound,
but the kind birds don't sing to
they fly off in the yonder blue!
Where i wanna go
but left here why i don't know,
but soon very soon
with the happy bluebirds i'll soon croon!
Even over the wind wailing
they hear my heart failing,
and can only pray for peace
only way this beast will cease!
