DANCE ANGEL
Come bring a smile in us
you dance angel
between memory
and whispered pain
hear an elaborate orchestra of words
imagine a precious spark
create perfect rhythm about every grace
give this poet a voice to show beauty
make always love live for those we have lost
be the light
dream in genius
and sing of silenced wings.
Come bring your touch to us
you dance angel
listen to hearts beating
and wear them on your sleeves
twirl above shattered nights
find the cracked lines of heartbreak
move over these with feet of strength
take away the tears from each eye
give away your pearls of hope
be the solemn vow
abide inside our prayers
and comfort those who are broken.
To the new angels who are now held in God's Eternal Arms from Newtown, CT
May you dance above us and sing God's comfort to our grieving hearts
