A band of angels are coming after-me
the glory of heaven do I see
Time on earth has finally ended for me
mission accomplished set me free

A band of angels to encircle my soul
guiding me to a paradise of gold
As promised by ancient prophets of old
word of the Lord Savior as foretold

A band of angels will soon be my wings
carrying me to the mansion of kings
Praising God in song as angels do sing
Glory to God shall eternally ring

Then forever in a band of angels I shall be
Guiding souls into becoming free
