Who are you fooling? From Dunblane in Scotland to Newtown in the U.S.A. Pray we learn the obvious, guns have had their day, But I fear some never learn, I still ask myself why, A culture can defend its use as their own children die, The damned pitiful excuses lauded to defend their stand, The right to bear arms, the gun lobby will still demand, With watered down legislation they agreed to be trialled, Means merely pointing your gun at your own little child, The second amendment has no place, in this day and age, So discard it to history, its time you turned that page, It may take a generation, so teach your child how to live.
