Poetic Verses
This Occasion
Perhaps there are but a few the number of persons
Who may not be captivated by what is the Christmas season
But for many they may mentally roll back those years
So that from within that childish spirit can be there
But what moment can be associated with this occasion
All around there is a scenic view well punctuated by decoration
And people around make sure in ways with such sincerity
That they are and can transpose on those around a feeling of being happy
And on those street worldwide in those cities and in the town
They will be thronged with shopper and laughing children around
And those lovers try all methods so that somehow they can secretly
Go and purchase that gift to surprise that special one for the festivity
In the midst of all the traffic I took time to think of Christmas as a child
And as I flash back how those moment on my face brought a smile
As I see many of those thing that the children got everyday
Were only available, so they were special on Christmas day
And as I looked at the child there throwing that terrible tantrum
Because it was not getting it way in getting around its mum
In my day that would have never been such a shameful situation
Because to go to the city was rare and so was treated as a momentous occasion
But no matter the age, era or perhaps the century
The season of Christmas is always looked on specially
But what Is also noticeable when it come to the season
That even in war the soldiers tend to put down that weapon.
