THIS POEM IS DEDICATED TO 
A FRIEND .


How can I reach your inner soul - my friend ?
How can the chains around you break - and 
Free the hidden man - that God has forged  
From precious gold ? - and yet is buried still 
Under the weight - of memories gone .
Perhaps - my task is almost done  as 
Faithful to my Master's plan - I have been 
Here  - as one - who points the way  - a 
Compass - like a guiding star - on oceans dark -
That leads a lonely sailor home - to havens
Safe - and perfect calm .

I can - with gentle heart - lead you towards 
the place of Everlasting rest - but only you can 
Enter through that Heavenly Door - and meet
The One - who knows - and loves you best - whose
Nail-pierced hands - are ever reaching out - to draw 
You in His love - to quieter plains - and waters still.
Where He - the Perfect Shepherd - of His own - can
Loose the fetters - that have kept you locked - 
Outside His Perfect will .

Oh friend of mine - and yet  - unknown to me - but
Through this trusty pen - Don't settle for the lesser part -
When you can know - of joy complete - in 
Mind and heart.
Let go - and trust yourself to Him - who flung the
Stars in space - and holds them there - and 
Knows each one by name - and you by - Face.

He will not fail 
This is my fervent prayer - and so -
I take my leave and say -
Goodbye my friend -
Adieu !

May the Love of the Father touch and save all those 
He is drawing to Himself - by the power of the Holy Spirit .
