MUSIC

Sore, right down to my soul. seems to me,
that life is all about dirt music.. I’ll explain-.
You’re going one way, steering the car, listening
to whatever’s on the Cd, then the music changes.

You pull over, look around and think about what
is on the cd. One word carries through, that’s
all is needed to set you off on another pathway.
Going somewhere the dirt music wants you to be.

Don’t wonder where it’s at. Or how long you’ll take
to get wherever the music taking you. What matters is,
the dirt in the music is calling you on down the pathways
of the country, knowing no one knows where you’re at.

That’s the wonder found in the dirt music. One word,
one note, changing the pathway you were carefully steering.
Suddenly realizing, this is the way it’s supposed to be.
The music and you, moving on down the pathways of life.

Words, music, love, thats what life is really about. No need
to wonder about the pathways of your mind. Let the dirt music
carry you wherever. If you stop to question the fates, you’ll
end up going nowhere, and that’s the  place you behind.
