Tarot
The reader takes the Deck
Fans out from left to right
Hopes today is a day she
Receives the gift of sight
The Fool falls on the Empress,
The Magician follows on,
The reader gathers up,
The sequence is gone.
The Hanged Man stands
Half next to the Tower,
The Wheel of Fortune blurs
The reader's misted power.
The Lovers lie entwined
The Chariot follows the Star
The reader's slitted eyes
Seem to reach from afar.
Judgement, Justice, Death,
Confuse the reader's mind.
The deck is gathered up for
Again today the reader is blind.
