I Think I Hear You Calling Momma

I think I hear you calling momma
But tonight I won’t be home
I know that suppers getting cold
And I still haven’t phoned

I left my heart momma
 Upon sweet Henry’s shoulder
With hues of lipstick stains
And courage that made me bolder!
Henry says I'm his little darling!

His precious living doll!
I think I hear you calling momma
I’m sorry I can’t call
Henry says I'm all grown now

And my heart must follow him!
I think I hear you calling momma
But tonight I won’t be in
