 JANET'S PLANET

Alone

Stand 'o' bare oaks Pictures, Images and Photos

As I stand alone
on this dark
bleak
dismal
rainy morning
I stare at bare trees
standing alone
like me
I can't help but wonder
how they feel
they have lost
all leaves
once vibrant
green full of color and life
they now stand alone
in the harsh winter chill
they face all kinds of weather
somehow they hold on remaining strong
I too must endure like the lonely trees
Spring will come
trees will flourish and bud
my spirit will blossom again
