Momentary Madness

A moment of madness, not thinking it through,
And all for a reason,  the words,
I love you,
And caught in a tangent, no way to get free,
The lie upon lie,
Disbelieving of me,
No place in the future, reliving the past,
We watch in slow motion,
The images last,
And guarding the room, in silent refrain,
In momentary madness,
I am feeling no pain.
